Listening to philosophy while knitting is my favorite pastime. Knitting creates a meditative and receptive mind, creating a gentle ground for philosophical thought. The only thing worth adding is a cup of jasmine tea.

Are there philosophy critics like there are literary critics?

Philosophy is an inherently circular process in that regard; one theoretically needs to be able to do both to count as a philosopher. Many philosophers are better at critiquing others than at producing new ideas — better at “questioning answers” than “answering questions”.
